In December 1998, the initiator of Feynman Software, Wei Yongming, began to develop MiniGUI under the GNU General Public License (GPL). A full-featured embdded browser (mSpider) by Feynman Software had been released on Sep 25 2005 - the third anniversary of Feynman Software. Another killer application on MiniGUI was born.

Feynman Software released eDillo V0.4.0 under GPL on Sep 15 2005. eDillo is an embedded browser for MiniGUI, which uses HTML engine and networking engine of the famous GPL'd Dillo Version 0.8.4/0.8.5. Feynman Software ported Dillo from GTK+ to MiniGUI but reserved all key features of Dillo.

Feynman Software released the development packages of MiniGUI V2.0.1 and MiniGUI V1.6.8 on Sep 15 2005. MiniGUI V2.0.x offers the rumtime mode of MiniGUI-Processes for Linux.

Feynman Software released the development packages of MiniGUI V1.6.2 and mGIS V1.0 under GPL on Feb 18 2005. mGIS is an embedded electronic map (GIS) render for MiniGUI.
