FlashPlayer: A SWF File Player

Overview

The GPLed FlashPlayer is a set of source codes that allow to play Flash movies, capable of playing the Macromedia Flash File Format (SWF).

FlashPlayer currently runs on most Linux based platforms with the MiniGUI.

FlashPlayer was written by HeZhe (hz_1_2_3@sina.com) based on flash-0.4.9 written by Olivier Debon, and add the support of Soundstream character.

FlashPlayer is released under the GNU Public Licence (GPL). Please send feedback, bug reports and patches to the author.

Documentation

This the Version 0.1.0 of the FlashPlayer for MiniGUI. There is currently no documentation for FlashPlayer aside from this web page. the following are links to relevant docment:

Building

1. You need to install MiniGUI (Version 1.1.0 or later).

2. Simply running "configure" and "make" should be sufficient to build FlashPlayer:

	$ ./configure; make

3. Start MiniGUI by running "mginit":

	$ ./mginit

4. Run FlashPlayer within Virtual Console on MiniGUI: 

	$ ./flashplayer <swf_file_name>.
